Zdeněk Hřib (Piráti) se jako první primátor nebo starosta v Česku přidal k podpoře gay a lesbických párů, které usilují o možnost vstupovat do manželství. Šéf magistrátní rady za to ve středu získal do iniciativy „Jsme fér“ dokument s názvem Certifikát férovosti.
„My, starostové a primátoři českých měst a obcí společně podporujeme možnost všech milujících párů vstupovat do manželství. Věříme, že milující a stabilní páry a jejich rodiny tvoří důležitou součást naší společnosti a přispívají k tomu, aby se lidem v našich městech a obcích dobře žilo. Je naší příjemnou povinností oddávat snoubence a přejeme si, abychom už nemuseli naše občany rozdělovat do dvou kategorií podle toho, koho milují.“
Tak zní výzva několika neziskových organizací, které podporují LGBT komunitu nebo pořádají festival Prague Pride. Právě svou fotografii v duhovém průvodu v ulicích metropole připojil Hřib k facebookovému příspěvku, kde zdůvodnil své rozhodnutí.
Homosexuálové nemají podporů poslanců
Homosexuální páry žádají, aby došlo k legislativní změně, která by jim umožnila uzavírat manželství se všemi právy a povinnostmi, jako je to běžné u sňatků mezi mužem a ženou. Gayové a lesby mohou nyní uzavírat pouze registrované partnerství.
V Poslanecké sněmovně však nemá novela občanského zákoníku dostatečnou podporu. Jednotně hlasuje snad jen Pirátská strana, jejímž je Hřib členem. Aktivisté se snažili politiky nedávno obměkčit lineckým pečivem ve tvaru zlomeného srdce. Dalším krokem „duhového lobbingu“ je získat podporu starostů a primátorů.
„Ti sice nehlasují o zákonech, ale zase jsou blíže lidem. A proto ví, že základem dobré společnosti jsou dobré vztahy mezi lidmi, zejména mezi sousedy. Že ve městě, kde spolu lidé mluví a vychází si vstříc, se všem žije lépe. Vidí, že gay a lesbické páry a rodiny, které vytvářejí, jsou stejně dobrými sousedy jako kdokoliv jiný,“ uvedla v tiskové zprávě magistrátu Adéla Horáková, právnička iniciativy Jsme fér. From 19 April throughout Czechia we will deliver a series of discussions, dialogues and debates about marriage equality. We will be at local and national festivals. In September, we will visit the town squares of over 60 Czech cities talking about marriage equality and listening too.
